Homecoming was awesome! I met a lot of new people, got to see a bunch of old friends and had a blast! 

5 DAYS!

Oh my goodness! Oh my goodness!!! less than 5 days until Homecoming! 

I have never been more excited about anything! I've never been asked to go to a dance with a guy, and I've never been able to get to dress up and feel like a princess. SO excited! 

But sooooo many things are going through my mind! 

Hair style

Nails

Earrings

Bracelet

Necklace

Purse/clutch

I'm not sure what I'm going to do for these things yet! One thing is off of the checklist.. one of the important things too! ..It was the boutonniere. I was freaking out about that, making sure it would be perfect and whatnot. But thank goodness it's being taken care of! 

Yesterday was exciting because the reality of actually going to homecoming hit me. I met my dates mom! And we talked about my dress, and the colors, as well as the flowers! She is super nice, and friendly! ..I think those are the same, but I don't care! Everything is going great! And I am super excited for this weekend!

My house is filled with fun vintage things, and I never really realized that until now!

Homecoming dress shopping!! 

It was a success. I found a dress within an hour and a half... I think, maybe less! 

That is the dress I found. For an awesome deal as well! We went to 3 different stores the first one.. no luck. The second, found a pile of dresses to try on, narrowed it down to 2 to pick from, decided to put those aside to see if we could find a better deal in another store.. and we did!! This dress we found in the third store, and last store we went to. And guess how much the dress was!

The retail price: $70

Our fantastic bargain price: $9.95

Can't beat that! Now the next mission is finding jewelry, and shoes. The must-haves. 

Now it's time to start school. I got put into two new classes so that may be a challenge, getting everything done on time with soccer and everyday life. But I will do my absolute best to get everything done in a timely manner! ..Now, I must sign off, and start my work! So have an awesome week everyone!

Belated Birthday lunch.. and shopping!!

This past Friday, my Grandmother took me out to lunch and birthday shopping. It was a blast!

If you ever go to Mimi's Cafe, I recommend their Monterey Chicken Burger. It was my first time ever eating at Mimi's Cafe, but I was absolutely satisfied by that sandwich! Delicious! 

After lunch we headed over to some stores and found lots of super cute things! 

I even tried on some homecoming dresses ;) 

I have already told my mom about being asked to homecoming, and last night I finally brought up the subject to my dad. He hasn't said anything about it this morning.. but we'll see how the rest of the day goes! 

Being in a family of 11 kids, with 6 girls to protect from anything and everything, he sure does the job! 

Anyway!.. I didn't get the dresses or a dress, because I hasn't brought up the subject to my dad until last night. And my mom would most likely have to 'approve' it first. I'm fine with that! 

This coming Friday.. in a couple days actually. One of my friends is taking me dress shopping. She says she thinks she is more excited about me going to homecoming than I am. ..We'll see about that! Hahah 

I'm sure it will be a fun day on Friday!

Well, lets just say.. last night was awesome! Never thought anything like that would happen. But it did! I felt as if it was a dream. And it still feels too good to be true! But I know it's true, because I get these awesome feelings inside, and everyone tells me how happy they are for me.

It's just a dream! ..I'm not going to homecoming, because I wasn't asked. Even though there is still a little under a month left, till homecoming! But, as far as I know homecoming is just a dream for me. I love looking at homecoming dresses and pictures, cause it makes me feel like one day I can be the girl wearing that dress, and those shoes, and that tiara! It would make me feel like a princess! ..Lets just see if that day actually comes!

I feel the urge to go out and buy a homecoming dress, shoes and the perfect accessories just so I can dress up and feel like a princess! ..I know, that sounds crazy! But that's me! I'm crazy!!

As far as life goes.. it's going well! Soccer is.. busy! School is taking control me, and hang out with friends time.. very low. But that's okay, soon enough it will be time where I can take a break from all classes and have time for hanging out.

..Not much time for an update on life. But I will post soon about life! I will just say, it's going great!
